Pandora's precious box

All those glitters are not gold....but they are sure good for my soul !

23-24 Feb 2012
( well, I was too sleepy to get it done lastnight. ^^\)

May I introduce you to my "Lab" ?
Nope, not "Lab the dog" that  I'd love to have one in my life.
My Lab is the Labradorite pendant.

The color is bluish-green, gray with iridescent golden, silver or pearly flash, depend on the angle of view or the angle of illumination

Its hardness is 6.5 on the Mohs scale

Labradorite is known as "spiritual awakening stone".
It is said to promote imagination, self-confidence and changes in us, reveal new opportunities and strengthens intuition & psychic ability. Those who are prone to anxiety
Also, labradorite is consider "lucky" stone as it believed to dispel negativity.

One thing I like about it, I was told Labradorite can regulate our metabolism and digestive system. ;)

Front : My Labradorite pendant set in silver.

Back : Not as beautiful as another side, has lots of chipped marks.

Well, they might not all pricey but at least during one period in my life, they are so adored.

I remember the beginning of year 2005, there was a Mini-Thai products exhibition in Sarawak.
That's how my interest in crystals expanded.

I've been into Feng-Shui & Ba Zi since around 2004 and crystal objects are among the common things you can see when talk about "Feng-Shui cure".

Cut the long story short, shall we? ;)
Today I will show you one of my beloved crystal. I have them in form of bracelets, 3 to be exact.

Kunzite Bracelets, the pink one shows its vivid color from this  angle.
Now, from a different angle, this is the actual color, not so intense.

This pretty stone has only been known for a little more than a hundred years.
Kunzite named after a New York jeweller and gemstone specialist George Frederick Kunz (1856 – 1932)
Its hardness is between 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale, which is very good.

"Kunzite is said to enhance a person's capacity for devotion and understanding and to bestow inner peace  on its wearer. And since it is also said to activate the mind and liberate us from worry and anxiety, it is an excellent gemstone for those suffering from strain or exam nerves. Whether or not one actually believes in these positive effects, one thing is certain: its fine pink with a hint of violet radiates a serene composure and keeps moods of depression and anxiety at bay right from the outset."
(Thanks for the info from gemstone, org )

This feminine crystal is recommended for reducing stress, depression & mood swing. ( Now you all know why I wear it almost all the time. ;P )

It gives out a soothing vibe that can help wearer adjust to the pressures of today's modern and hectic lifestyle.
